Eric Ducoff Band
The Eric Ducoff Band is an unapologetic rock n’ roll trio based out of lower New England. Their sound is all about big songs, and big guitar, with a salute to the rock and blues heroes that inspire roots-based music lovers to crank the volume knob.
Muddy Waters famously said, “the blues had a baby, and they named it rock ‘n roll.” The same could be said for The Eric Ducoff Band. The group was formed in 2007 by Eric Ducoff (guitar/vocals), Jeff Berg (bass) and Nick Toscano (drums) as an outlet for their intimate knowledge and love for traditional blues. But their sound didn’t stop there…
“While the blues brought us together, we all had a deep love for rock ‘n roll,” says Ducoff. “The transition from a traditional blues band to a straight-up rock ‘n roll band happened about as organically as possible. We just followed the muse, and before we knew it we were a COMPLETELY different band. If that same musical path worked for guys like the Stones, Cream, Jack White and The Black Keys, who were we not to follow it, as well?”
In December of 2018, the band released their first full-length album, Closure, a self-produced collection of 10 original tracks. The album can be found on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Tidal and all other major streaming services.

Matt Bennett Band
Matthew Bennett is a singer-songwriter from New Haven Connecticut that has combined blues, folk, rock, and a hint of country into a unique modern roots style. He expresses his raw power and funky rhythms in his songs "Back and Forth" and "Angles That we Play." His lyrics are clear and colorful and his stories are as insightful as they are diverse as shown in "A Simple Man's Life" and "Where We Belong."
On stage Matthew pays tribute to some of the most iconic singer-songwriters of the 20th century including Bob Dylan, Muddy Waters, John Prine, Robert Johnson, Townes Van Zandt, and many more. He is a non- apologetic in-your-face performer that loves to get the whole room grooving!

The Gleeful Conspiracy
The Gleeful Conspiracy is a Connecticut-based band that digs deep into a trick bag full of superheated guitar soul to raise earworms the size of mobile homes.
The band was created in 2020 by lockdown-confined newlyweds Thom and Whitney Guthrie as a vocal/keys and bass duo. It was a start, but it needed ... something. The drum machine on the keyboard started demanding top billing, too.
They quickly recruited drummer Mike Keyes, a fixture on the local scene. Then Fate high-fived them when Thom and Whitney ran into Jeff Carpenter and his son at a local guitar shop.
Jeff was just getting back into playing and making home recordings, but he was quickly persuaded to swerve into the glamorous rock and roll lifestyle the Guthries promised.
After a string of amazingly well-received live performances, the band recorded their first EP, Manifestival, with Michael Arafeh, Middletown's Musical Ambassador, at the Coffeehouse Studio. It was released in Spring 2024, and a full-length follow-up is already in the works.
The Conspiracy has one goal: they're here to glitterbomb your brain until you dance. Only the finest handcrafted grooves and lyrics go into every bite.
Come get your glow on!!!

Cosmos Sunshine
Born Cosmos Sunshine Heidtmann on a commune-like hippie settlement on the Connecticut River, there’s an outpouring of influence behind the music that draws from years of reflection and observation. The settlement was a homestead farm with no electricity, no phones and an outhouse. Water had to be hand pumped from a well that his father dug and heated on the propane stove in order to bathe. The characteristics of this living situation had Cosmos spending most of his childhood getting lost in the woods and being surrounded by a multitude of colorful characters that matched this colorful lifestyle. Cosmos was introduced to the music that influenced his own craft when his parents took him to the Summer Jam Festival at Watkins Glen , featuring The Allman Brothers Band, The Grateful Dead and The Band. He still recalls the music constantly playing in the background on his parent’s turntable as he looked out onto the river- remembrances of what he calls “vibey, acoustic, singer/songwriter music” that was very indicative of the seventies.
The tragic murder of John Lennon changed everything for Cosmos. This moment entirely swept Cosmos up by a new perspective. It showed him the power of words and music and the connection shared by people with great ideals. It was this moment when his destiny was written and he became consumed by the music. He only needed to find his instrument. The culmination of life experiences helped him paint the picture that became his future. Like every great painter, all the proper tools need to be present to create. Cosmos’ childhood experiences became his pallet, and at age 14 when he picked up the guitar, the guitar was the brush that moved the colors around to create beautiful strokes of art. By fifteen, Cosmos was writing his own material and playing professionally.
Cosmos’ days of getting lost in the woods were over. His younger years were ones of many restrictions, but with a guitar in hand, the possibilities seemed endless. After a brief stint at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Cosmos moved to New York City and began his tenure as lead guitarist, songwriter and bandleader for the 1990's bands, Cherokee Sex Workshop and Walkinbird. The latter’s eponymous debut album was produced by the legendary Warren Haynes , who became a mentor to Cosmos, teaching him the ways of songwriting, studio production and guitar wizardry. Since that time, he has been an active solo performer and the front man for Cosmos Sunshine & the Butterfly Effect, Los Lotharios, The Cosmos Sunshine Band and Dan Patch.
Cosmos has amassed a discography of four full length albums and four EPs and has played some of the best venues in New York City including Irving Plaza, CBGB, and The Knitting Factory and toured nationally opening for such greats as Gov't Mule, Blues Traveler, and Lenny Kravitz . In 2018 Cosmos Sunshine was inducted in to the Connecticut Blues Hall of Fame and will release his fifth full length album, Comes with the Fall , at the end of May.
There is a magical sense to the life that Cosmos was born into. The simplicity and primitiveness of his childhood was soothed by music. It is like Cosmos was given more than just the primary colors on his pallet and it was up to him to make those colors come to life. He has a n abiding sense of rightness and connectedness to his past that he experiences through the expression of music. Cosmos Sunshine was born with a vibrant array of colors in front of him that he still paints with today.

Driving Route 9
DR9, from East Haddam CT, writes upbeat pop/folk music with tight male/female vocal harmony as the cornerstone. Their debut album, Matter of Time, released in 2021 showcases a Celtic twist, featuring professional Irish musicians as well as a Nashville-based sax and whistle player. Currently they frequent venues in the Connecticut River Valley area: local festivals, fairs, private events, and pubs since 2017, often sporting a fiddler to add to their coveted Irish flare. DR9 brings a catchy and folky feel to any show, fronting couple, Rebecca and Barry O'Doherty. Anchored by Jim David (drums), and Dana Takaki (fiddle), the songwriting of the local musical powerhouse demonstrates diverse guitar techniques, a broad vocal range and compelling lyrics, sprinkled with tasteful leads and unique rhythm. They not only have their musicianship down to a science, but have cultivated quite an attractive performance.

Brandt Taylor
I'm a guitarist/singer/songwriter from Connecticut. I started playing at the age of 9, and professionally by the age of 16. I gig frequently around New England as a one man band, or with my full band and my downtime is spent writing and recording original music.
Leaf Jumpers
It's hard to believe that Leaf Jumpers released their 3rd studio album in 2016. Considering the band has been around on and off for over 20 years makes this achievement both a pleasant surprise and an unlikely event!
The band was formed in the fall of 1995 out of the ashes of Quatrain, a high school/college band that singer/guitarist Chris Marra had formed in 1989. When the band ended, both Chris and current bass player Spike Kingsley and drummer Mat Pickering were still interested in playing together. Within a few months they had formed Leaf Jumpers with Chris and Mat's neighbor Jon Hebert on guitar. That lineup lasted through the winter until early in 1996 when guitarist Matt Bureau joined the band. In 1996 the band recorded a demo tape (yes we said tape) of 6 songs which would eventually be released to the public in a limited run. During this time Mat Pickering left the band and was replaced by Steve Clay, then drummer Scott Pezsko. This lineup for Marra, Kingsley, Bureau and Pezsko would be the classic lineup of the band from 1997-1999. During this time the band played shows up and down the East Coast, from Maine to Georgia. Playing at some of the country's best venues, including Toad's Place in New Haven, The Wetlands in New York City, and the Georgia Theater in Athens, GA. They also released their debut CD, Z'ilo Down. The CD included many concert staples, including Melissa's Parlor, Begin Again, Ride, and Captain's Tale, a fan favorite that is still popular today. During this time the band shared the stage with several of the nations top jam acts, including Sister Hazel, Deep Banana Blackout, Max Creek, From Good Homes, Disco Biscuits, NRBQ, Rustic Overtones, God Street Wine, Percy Hill and many more. The band even played a festival show with a then unknown Godsmack!
But fun times soon turned into sad times as Spike Kingsley left the band in January 1999. Chris Huit replaced Spike for the next two years. During this time the band continued to play over 100 shows a year. Mat Pickering rejoined the band on percussion during the spring and summer of 1999. The band recorded Sunlight Blind in 2000, which included live favorites Long Since Done, Back Around, and White House. The second album didn't fare as well as the first, and tensions in the band brought another change with Darren Finnegan replacing Huit in late 2000. By 2001, Spike Kingsley returned replacing Finnegan, and Pickering returned again as well. But by this time the band members were losing steam. Rather than continue without a real sense of purpose, the band split in the summer of 2001.
In 2003, the band regrouped with Marra, Kingsley, Bureau, Pickering and drummer James Anderson. They played a few shows through early 2004, but once again the interest within the band was not where it needed to be to continue. For the next ten years, members of the band were involved with several different projects and stayed in touch with each other.
Then in 2013, the band returned to the stage. The classic lineup of Marra, Kingsley, Bureau and Peszko returned for a one off show in Hartford, Connecticut. The band continued through early 2014, where this time Bureau left to pursue other projects. Keyboard player Mark Apostilides joined in March 2014 and during the Summer and Fall the band played several clubs, festivals, and fairs. In December of that year the band played during an AHL hockey games in the main arena at the XL Center in Hartford, capping off a year in which they played to over 10,000 people.
Apostilides left in early 2015 and was replaced by Jeff Bousfield. The band entered Coffeehouse Studios in Middletown in April to record their 3rd full length CD. Kristen Forscher was added to the lineup as a backing vocalist, along with part time vocalist Anna Babbin. The band once again played several shows throughout the year including several major festivals. For 2016 the band looks to play several more shows supporting their new album.
In 2016 the band released it's third studio album, "A Distant Land". The lineup for 2016 was Marra, Kingsley, Forscher, along with returning drummer James Anderson and new keyboard/guitar player Matt Splain. The band played several club and festival shows in support of the new CD throughout the summer.
In 2017 Marc Apostilides returned on keyboards and vocals, as the band continued to play several shows during the summer of 2017 and 2018. In 2019 the band continued to play all over New England and guitarist, vocalist Ted Petrie joined the fold. The band played over 15 shows during the 2020 outdoor season during the Covid-19 crisis.
In 2021 founding member Spike Kingsley announced he would take the year off for health issues. The band played a full summer schedule with the lineup of Marra, Anderson, Splain, Petrie and bass player Marc Crino. In November 2021, Spike Kingsley passed away after a year long battle with cancer.
2022 began with the band questioning whether Leaf Jumpers had a future. New bass player Dave Connelly joined the team and from the beginning of the summer the band played amazingly and with a renewed sense of purpose. Plans are in the works for new music and a more year round playing schedule.

Did you say 20 years? Yes this group has been to therapy and back to keep their high energy show going all these years.
2022 brings their 6th full-length independent CD release to the masses. Tracks off this new CD Wings To Fly are eclectic, more raw then their pervious releases and include some solid country-rock tunes such as Ride With Me & Life On The Road and some funky-blues-rock tunes like Want What I Want and It Ain't You. There are some surprise genres on this compilation such as Frostbite (rock-metal) and One Small Step (electra-pop).
Sister Funk has been nominated for many awards and titles: Best Rock band- Advocate, Best Rock Song- New England Music and has had their song Gone featured on Sirius Out Q as #1 for 15 consecutive weeks. Sister Funk performances are known for being unpredictable, playing multiple instruments and performing medleys of their favorite cover songs with their own creative interpretation. Don't be fooled by the name this dynamic band has something for everyone.
